Virginia joined the firm that now bears her name in 1991, following work for the American Red Cross and the Brookings Institute in her native Washington, DC.

The mainstay of the agency's public relations sector, Virginia has made herself and BMF invaluable to leading clients including Brad Pitt's Make It Right Foundation (www.makeitrightnola.org), Shell, Community Coffee and the Legacy Donor Foundation.

Virginia has also distinguished herself in the field of crisis communications, helping to manage communications on two of the nation's largest oil spills and conducting crisis training for a variety of clients in the law enforcement, education, healthcare, oil and gas, shipping and legal sectors.

Virginia is a graduate of Newcomb College at Tulane University with degrees in history and political science. She speaks Spanish fluently, and has served on the boards of many major organizations, currently including the New Orleans Horizon Initiative and the Innocence Project.
